Since the launch in July of the new web site, www.retrograph.com, the collection has been expanding steadily. Retrograph offers a unique collection of graphic design and commercial art images, to which we have recently added new categories, including Architectural Engravings, Famous Faces, Ladies Fashion and Magazines & Periodicals. We have also added newly sourced images in several other categories. There are new additions in particular to Film Stars, with a selection of 1950s profiles, Tourism, with a great range of LNER posters from the 1930s and War with a sobering French collection of first world war images.

The Retrograph collection was borne out of a deep interest in the talent of the commercial art and graphic design sectors. It dates back to the early eighteen hundreds and covers a wide range of artistic and graphic styles, reflecting the period of their creation. The collection evokes an age when the skills and craftsmanship of image making was at its best, with outstanding use of colour and drawing skills on display, some of which are produced by leading artists in their field at the time.

For more information on our images please visit our web site, www.retrograph.com, or email sales@retrograph.com with your requirements.

We continue to update the collection daily so ensure you don’t miss out, visit the site regularly.
